The subtitle of this episode is "Adam should shave off his hair and grow a mustache", referring to our statement that Adam Curry should finally put some commitment behind his claims that aliens will show themselves on earth on Oct. 14th and that the Large Hadron Collider will cause a black hole.

While browsing around on the Whatever Happened To website I found out that John Rutsey had passed away in May. John Rutsey was Rush's first drummer, Rush is my favourite band ever. John died of complications from diabetes, age 54.
The popular story used to be that John left Rush, because he thought they would never gain any success. Now we know he left Rush because of his diabetes. His condition would not allow him to do extensive touring.

A couple of weeks ago Ronnie Drew passed away, he was the front man for The Dubliners. I have not had the time to really reflect on it. Although I am no longer a fan of the genre, The Dubliners were certainly part of my youth, my parents were big fans, and I had my first big success doing two of their songs during a school end-of-term show. People still recognised me on the street of my home town weeks later.
